Nation Ford Chemical Receives National Performance Improvement Honor – SOCMA Recognizes Company’s Commitment to Improving Environmental, Health, Safety & Security
Fort Mill, S.C. – Nation Ford Chemical is pleased to announce it has been recognized for exemplary efforts in improving its environmental, health, safety and security by the Society of Chemical Manufacturers and Affiliates (SOCMA), a trade association representing specialty chemical manufacturers.
Nation Ford Chemical participates in SOCMA’s ChemStewards® program, which encourages companies to operate their facilities in an environment that guarantees safety and environmental compliance to all stakeholders.
Nation Ford Chemical will accept a Silver Performance Improvement Award at SOCMA’s 94th Annual Dinner on December 7 in New York City. This is the seventh performance award Nation Ford Chemical has received in the last six years.
Nation Ford Chemical was recognized for its successful efforts to improve resource management, which was accomplished by reducing waste streams from the plant.
“We are extremely proud of the hard work our employees have done on our EHS&S program. This award reflects our commitment to constant improvement for our products, our workers and our neighbors in the community,” said National Ford President Jay Dickson.
