Founded in 1978, Nation Ford Chemical is one of America’s most respected custom and toll manufacturers of specialty organic chemicals. The company specializes in the production of a variety of organic intermediates, polymers and colorants for a broad range of customers worldwide.

The team members at Nation Ford Chemical take pride in delivering high quality at a reasonable cost. For over 45 years, NFC has been known for its ability to outpace other companies by reducing the lead time necessary to bring new chemicals into production. Our customer-centered approach to toll manufacturing means we deliver the product you need when you need it.

Chemical production is based at our 28-acre site in Fort Mill, South Carolina, USA, and products are sold worldwide. In addition to domestic manufacturing, NFC has partnered with strategic suppliers to efficiently source critical intermediates from around the globe.

NFC Production

NFC seeks contract and toll manufacturing opportunities and provides a wide range of reaction capability, including polymerization, nitration, sulfonation, hydrogenation and alkylation.

NFC is the world’s largest supplier of Sulfanilic Acid,
and the only company that offers four grades.

NFC is the only domestic producer of PANA (n-phenyl-1-naphthylamine), an anti-oxidant used in synthetic lubricants, rubber products and as an organic intermediate. Three options offered are molten liquid, solid and flake.

Nation Ford Chemical is a proud supplier to the U.S. military of the complete line of domestically produced dyes for smoke signaling and cover.
