NFC Visits Washington, D.C.
May 2, 2014 On Wednesday, April 30 Nation Ford Chemical (NFC) represented chemical manufacturers on Capitol Hill by advocating for policies that will directly impact domestic manufacturing sustainability and growth. NFC was part of a larger group of companies representing the chemical industry in Washington, organized by the Society of Chemical Manufacturers and Affiliates (SOCMA). While in the nation’s capital we were able to meet with Congressman Mick Mulvaney (South Carolina, 5th District) and the office of Senator Lindsey Graham (South Carolina). We were able to talk to both offices about several issues impeding growth opportunities for not only NFC, but all small chemical manufacturers. Both offices were supportive of small business growth leading to employment opportunities. Shown Below: U.S. Congressman Mick Mulvaney, Brooke DiDomenico (NFC)
